How the pandemic shaped teenagers’ views on violence: exploring the complexities of post-confinement attitudes

Introduction Violent extremism is a complex and urgent issue that affects all sectors of society necessitates research aimed at preventing transforming violent behavior. Methods This study presents the findings questionnaire comprising 34 items administered to 1,169 teenagers from two secondary schools in Almería Madrid, Spain, immediately following conclusion COVID-19 confinement measures. The primary objective analyze teenagers’ perspectives on pro-violent attitudes, along with their association various factors such as digital consumption, interpersonal relationships, socio-demographic circumstances families. Data collection involved direct interventions students participating educational institutions. Results demonstrate variables gender, number siblings, religious practice influence extremism, whereas nationality does not emerge significant factor. Additionally, identifies several contributing prevalence extremist employs moderation analysis utilizing mother’s level education moderator variable. Discussion Based these results, recommends further enhance our understanding development attitudes behaviors. it suggests implementing family personal support programs fostering healthy adolescent development.
